Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field is required.
• One year of relevant social services experience working with children and families.
• Credentials: Child Welfare Certification is required upon completion of training.
• Background clearance screening letter is required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability per agency requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Participates in staff development opportunities and maintains child welfare certification.
• Backs up other team members and assists on cases.
• Maintains relationships with supervisory staff and community resource providers.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with children and families toward permanency and safety.
• Completes accurate case notes and enters data per policy.
• Prepares for and attends court activities and hearings.
• Develops reviews and assessments and prepares necessary reports on time.
• Plans and facilitates family visits and placement arrangements.
