Job summary

Camelot Community Care Inc. is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Case Manager to ensure safety, permanency, and well-being for children.

You will complete case documentation, coordinate court activities, and collaborate with supervisors and community resources to drive positive outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to pursue child welfare certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field and one year of relevant social services experience.
• Child Welfare Certification: required; participate in certification training and obtain certification upon completion.
• Background clearance screening letter required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by agency.
• Ability to understand and evaluate risk factors for child abuse and neglect.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Complete case notes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Attend court activities, testify and make recommendations to the court.
• Develop and complete judicial reviews, assessments and reports on time.
• Arrange placements, conduct home studies and facilitate family contacts.
• Plan and facilitate visits between children and families; maintain monthly face-to-face contacts.
• Support foster and adoptive families and assist with subsidy negotiations when applicable.
