Job summary

Camelot Community Care Inc. in Florida is hiring a Child Welfare Case Manager to participate in training, support a caseload, and collaborate with supervisors and community resources to safeguard children.

You will maintain client relationships, complete case notes, and prepare for court proceedings to support permanency goals. Role requires a Bachelor's in Social Work or related field, one year of experience, and active Child Welfare Certification; a valid driver’s license and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or related human service field and one year of relevant social services experience.
• Child Welfare Certification: required; participate in certification training and obtain certification upon completion.
• Background clearance screening letter required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability with agency insurance if using a company vehicle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Participates in staff development opportunities and maintains child welfare certification through ongoing training.
• Back up other team members and assist on cases within the unit.
• Maintain relationships with supervisory staff and community resource providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with children and families focusing on permanency and safety.
• Accurately completes case notes in the data system according to policy and outcomes.
• Prepares for and attends court activities, including hearings and testimony; makes court recommendations.
