Job summary

Covenant Kids is seeking a dedicated Case Manager for the McKinney, TX area to develop and oversee the foster care and foster care adoption program. You will supervise foster/adoptive families to ensure licensing compliance and contract terms.

You will partner with families to guide prospective foster to adoptive parents and their children through the adoption process, coordinating therapeutic services and reporting progress to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate orally and in writing; maintain confidentiality.
• On-call availability and pager responsiveness.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to multitask; detail oriented.
• Good character and professional demeanor for residents and their families.
• Ability to work under stress and stay flexible.
• Proficient in basic computer skills including data entry, MS Office, jobsite portals and company software.
• Ability to remember multiple tasks over several days/weeks.
• Physical ability to perform duties as described.

Responsibilities

• Serve in the on-call rotation for after hours and weekend coverage.
• Provide crisis management to families as trained.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and chart audits; complete documentation timely.
• Input data into computer accurately and timely.
• Represent Covenant Kids in the community.
• Assist in staff and foster/adoption parent training.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
