Qualifications

• Proficiency in English required.
• Advocacy, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills.
• Confidentiality and data protection awareness.
• Understanding of domestic violence and its impact on survivors and children.
• Ability to assist residents with housing navigation, benefits, referrals, and life skills.
• Accurate documentation in agency systems and timely case notes.
• Ability to follow up on applications and coordinate with partners.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and stakeholder feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution to households who have experienced domestic violence or homelessness.
• Maintain confidentiality of shelter, employees, and client information per Family Tree policies.
• Enter documentation into Salesforce HMIS and other tracking systems and support monthly grant reporting.
• Complete client interactions documentation promptly and accurately.
• Follow up on service applications and conduct intakes for new clients.
• Communicate with partner agencies and professionals to better serve clients.
