Job summary

The Bindu Institute, LLC in Fitzgerald, GA is seeking a Life Skills Coach (LSC) to work in our community-based program. The LSC provides functional supports to individuals with brain injuries or neurological conditions to help them live independently and access community resources.

Essential duties include advocating for clients, aiding with daily living, transportation, and social participation within the community.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or physical disabilities preferred.
• Must have reliable computer or device for daily documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Responsibilities

• Provides positive support and advocacy for clients.
• Assists with identifying choices and informed decisions in daily activities.
• Maintains home routines and supports safe, healthy living.
• Promotes social participation and community engagement.
• Supports transportation to activities and appointments.
• Completes progress notes per policy and reports to supervisors.
