Job summary

Centria Healthcare in Charlotte, NC is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

No prior experience required as training is provided; candidates should be patient and team-oriented. Be able to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds; pay range is $17-$23 per hour; benefits include

Qualifications

Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one behavioral support under the supervision of a BCBA.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
