Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour and physical tasks such as standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting in various positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one services with children under a BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in reducing interfering behaviors while ensuring safety.
