Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA supervision, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. Applicants must be patient and team-oriented, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age with HS diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not current.
• Register for RBT certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress and adjust plans.
