Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability is hiring Behavior Intervention Specialists to assess habilitative and behavioral needs of individuals with I/DD. You will develop and implement individualized behavior support plans and oversee data collection and progress across programs in NY.

The role requires a master’s level clinical background, BCBA or NYSED license options, and flexibility to travel to multiple sites with a demanding schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical or related field and training in assessment and behavior support.
• BCBA certification and master’s in behavior analysis or related field; NY license may be required.
• Ability to travel to multiple programs and work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assess habilitative, behavioral and psychiatric needs using person-centered tools.
• Develop and implement habilitative and behavior support plans.
• Oversee data collection and progress monitoring monthly.
• Train staff on behavior management and data recording techniques.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and family interfaces.
