YAI - Seeing beyond disability is seeking a Behavior Support Assistant to provide in-home services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New York City. Qualifications

BA/BS Degree in Psychology of Human Services or closely related field.

Valid Driver’s License may be required, based on position/location

Responsibilities

Provides in-home services including assessment, observation, training, and monitoring for people with I/DD in home or crisis settings.
Develops written individualized habilitative plans.
Delivers in-home intervention and family training to address specific behavior problems.
Coordinates with other service providers and monitors progress across settings.
Performs ADL support, personal care, and related tasks as needed.
Maintains paperwork including progress reports and assessments.
Supervises and supervises team discussions during case rounds and team meetings.
