Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a motivated Leasing Agent for an affordable housing property. You will process applications, verify income, complete HUD paperwork, and lease units while promoting property features.

The role requires strong customer service, sales ability, and familiarity with HUD/Section 8 guidelines. You will manage resident relations, tours, and marketing efforts to maintain occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; not required.
• Experience in residential property management or related field (1 year) is required.
• HUD/Section 8 experience is preferred.
• Ability to read/write English fluently.
• Knowledge of HUD regulations and affordable housing practices.
• Strong customer service orientation and sales focus.

Responsibilities

• Process applications, verify income, and complete HUD paperwork.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and the community.
• Lease apartments and promote property amenities to prospects.
• Respond to leads, handle calls, and conduct tours per guidelines.
• Develop sales/marketing strategies to drive traffic and revenue.
• Audit lease files and ensure proper documentation in systems.
