Sunny Days Sunshine Center in Edison, NJ is hiring part-time RBT therapists for its outpatient pediatric center. You will implement ABA under BCBA supervision, provide 1:1 therapy, and help children develop social, communication, and daily living skills.

We offer flexible daytimes, after school, evenings, and weekend shifts, with competitive rates based on education and experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision for part-time staff and 401k eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children with autism using ABA methods.
• RBT coursework offered by the center to obtain certification.
• Energetic, animated, and outgoing with a passion for helping children.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA programming under the direction of a BCBA.
• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy.
• Use reinforcement, prompting, and shaping techniques.
• Teach ABA, social, and daily living skills.
• Effectively respond to and minimize difficult or disruptive behaviors.
• Collect data on ABA targets using an online system to enter, track, and view progress.
• Provide support to parents, teachers, and caregivers to apply programs universally across environments.
• Implement programs designed by BCBA.
