The candidate should hold NJ State K-6 certification or equivalent, have a Bachelor's in Education, 1–2 years of teaching experience, and a commitment to academic excellence and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required; advanced degree is a plus.
• Hold a valid NJ State K-6 Teacher Certification or other K-12 science certification.
• 1–2 years teaching experience preferred.
• Commitment to ensuring academic success for all students.
• Demonstrate strong morals, integrity and collaboration.
• Be able to complete required background checks and safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Lead direct instruction in the classroom for whole groups, small groups and individuals.
• Collaborate with grade level partners to implement a strong, integrated curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with families to ensure home–school alignment.
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school activities.
• Provide supervision during recess, lunch, and hallway; assist with co-curricular duties.
