Job summary

City Year is seeking an Impact Manager to lead and develop a team of AmeriCorps members, strengthening schools and supporting students under the Whole School Whole Child model. You will report to an Impact Director and work from partner schools to drive high-quality service delivery and leadership development.

Responsibilities include coaching corps members, building school partnerships, and ensuring rigorous performance standards while fostering a dynamic, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Experience building relationships with schools and community partners.
• History of coaching or leading young people aged 17–24.
• Proven track record of delivering results with students from low-income communities.
• Strong communication skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of AmeriCorps members to meet performance and leadership goals.
• Develop partnerships with school staff to support attendance and course performance interventions.
• Model City Year culture and values to empower corps members and support their development.
