Job summary

City Year in Chicago is seeking an Impact Manager to lead the Whole School Whole Child service model across two schools. You will coach AmeriCorps members, align HQ and site teams, and drive data-informed interventions.

The role emphasizes partnership with school leaders, program leadership, and a commitment to youth development through a ten‑month service cycle. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with competitive nonprofit benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Urban Studies, Youth Work, or related field preferred; experience in management/non-profits acceptable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with active listening skills.
• Ability to execute a strategic plan and motivate staff.
• Experience coaching young adults and working with diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and financial management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of WSWC supports in two schools.
• Lead instructional support, events, culture, and climate initiatives.
• Set objectives, measure progress, and share best practices.
• Coach AmeriCorps members and guide growth plans.
• Build and cultivate relationships with school leaders and partners.
• Analyze data to explain trends and improve interventions.
