Job summary

City Year is looking for an Impact Director who will lead the service implementation across various Chicago Public Schools. This role involves managing a team of AmeriCorps volunteers and driving socio-academic outcomes for students through strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in educational leadership, be skilled in managing relationships with school partners, and possess strong decision-making abilities. The position offers a salary range of $73,000 – $78,000 and a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of full-time experience leading, supervising, coaching, teaching, or managing young adults.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass required criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of approximately fifty AmeriCorps volunteer Student Success Coaches.
• Hire, develop, and manage three to four Impact Managers.
• Oversee school-based and student-level service results.
• Manage relationships with partner schools.
