Job summary

BlueHub Capital in Boston, MA is seeking a Lending Analyst to support underwriting, business development, and strategic initiatives for the BlueHub Loan Fund. You will analyze loan requests, prepare credit materials, and help cultivate borrower and referral-partner relationships.

The role reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Loan Fund President, collaborates with lending, credit and portfolio management teams, and offers a hybrid schedule with three in-office days and two remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, finance, accounting, impact finance, real estate or related field.
• Graduate degree in a related field is a plus.
• Some relevant experience valued in community development finance, banking, real estate, or nonprofit settings.
• Strong analytical skills for credit analysis and strategic initiatives, including due diligence and financial statement review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to synthesize complex information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan requests and review financial statements, tax returns, and project documentation.
• Prepare credit memoranda and loan presentations for internal credit review and Loan Committee.
• Support due diligence on collateral, guarantors, and project feasibility with third parties.
• Prepare materials for product marketing and borrower meetings.
• Support business development strategy, relationship management and pipeline development.
• Provide analytical support for strategic projects and process improvements.
• Prepare internal and external reports related to lending activity and portfolio performance.
