Job summary

BlueHub Capital in the Boston, MA area is seeking a Director of Credit to lead the credit approval and oversight process across our lending programs. Reporting to the Chief Credit Officer, the role ensures integrity and efficiency of credit decisions and bridges underwriting, portfolio management, and loan closers.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in credit analysis or fund administration, preferably in a CDFI or mission-driven lender. A Master's degree is preferred, with CFA/CRC a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
• 8–12 years of credit analysis, underwriting, or fund administration experience.
• CDFI, community bank, or mission-driven lending experience preferred.
• Experience supporting credit committees and loan approval processes.
• Familiarity with CDFI Fund programs or tax credits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Chief Credit Officer and Loan Fund President on credit decisions post-approval.
• Lead or coordinate credit policy development, training, and professional development.
• Manage credit committee logistics, agendas, and documentation.
• Oversee risk rating and portfolio oversight processes.
• Coordinate with fund and underwriters on loan approvals and term sheets.
