Jericho Project is seeking an Assistant Director for Walton House, a 33-unit Permanent Supportive Housing program in the Melrose area (Bronx). You will lead a team, oversee data integrity, and coordinate services for LGBTQ young adults with complex needs, including mental health and substance use histories.

The role reports to the Program Director, requires a bachelor’s in human services with 3 years’ experience (master’s preferred), and offers a salary of $67,000–$70,000 annually.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required with 3 years of experience.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with de-escalation required.
• Experience with adults or victims of trauma for homelessness populations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Mansioni

• Ensure accurate data entry and complete charts with required documentation.
• Ensure staff compliance with time and attendance policy; enter edits and approve timecards.
• Deliver case management services to a small caseload of young adults.
• Audit case records for documentation standards and eligibility requirements.
• Train new hires on the electronic case management system.
• Perform data integrity checks and address deficiencies or errors.
• Develop relationships with DHS shelter staff and HRA for continuity of services.
• Complete and maintain all internal and external reports.
• Assist in recruitment, selection, training, and orientation of new employees.
• Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and trainings.
