Job summary

Armanino Advisory LLC is seeking a Workday PSA & Financials Data Engineer to develop and implement data conversion solutions across PSA and FINS. You will design end-to-end transformations, ensure secure data handling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

You will load, transform, and validate data using APIs, EIBs, SQL, and ETL tools, while contributing to documentation and change-management processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with Workday in a systems, integrations, data conversion, or analyst capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Workday PSA and Financials (FINS) modules.
• Hands-on experience with Workday reporting and data management.
• Experience managing data migrations and phased deployments.
• Proficiency in utilizing Workday data load and management tools including APIs and EIBs.
• Experience supporting technology integration during mergers and acquisitions.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage assigned work independently, and collaborate effectively on cross-functional projects.
• Experience creating technical documentation (process maps, SOPs, data flow diagrams).

Responsibilities

• Develop growing subject matter expertise in Workday capabilities including security design, reporting, data management, and integrations across PSA & FINS.
• Design, document, and communicate end-to-end Workday data conversion solutions, encompassing data transformations, reporting, APIs, and business processes with SME support.
• Deliver technical documentation such as process maps, data flow diagrams, and solution design artifacts, and continuously improve documentation quality.
• Deploy technical solutions efficiently, meeting agreed-upon timelines and delivering results in a timely manner.
• Proactively forecast and manage workload, demonstrating strong self-management and initiative as a self-starter.
• Effectively juggle multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and performance across all deliverables.
• Participate in Change Management processes, risk assessments, and aiding in the decision-making process.
• Lead and execute data analysis, transformation, and load activities to support Workday operations.
• Partner with business analysts and functional leads to evaluate the feasibility of technical and business requirements.
• Support issue investigation and escalation by partnering with cross team engineers on Workday design decisions.
• Collaborate with Workday Security Team to validate that data management aligns with access policies, SOC controls, and data privacy standards.
• Ensure that technical designs incorporate role-based access, audit controls, and user provisioning best practices.
• Work closely with integration developers, data engineers, and platform teams to deliver aligned and cohesive solutions.
• Act as a data SME supporting business and IT, facilitating informed solutioning across stakeholders.
• Serve as Ambassador to the Data & Architecture team members acting as a point of escalation and SME for the Workday Platform.
• Use Workday data loading tools and EIBs, SQL, and ETL methods to manage customer, project, workforce, and financial data across Workday and connected systems.
• Support M&A, reimplementation, and enterprise systems initiatives by applying consistent data-conversion standards, controls, and documentation.
