Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities in North Haven. You will mentor supervisors and staff, ensure compliance with DDS and state regulations, and assist with clinical assessments and IP/ISP goals.

You’ll also manage scheduling, budgets, and on-call coverage. The role demands supervisory experience, strong communication, and a compassionate approach to empower individuals in their communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience providing support to individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors.
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• A valid US driver’s license may be required; 3+ years of driving experience recommended.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Mentor, develop and supervise shift supervisors and direct care staff.
• Ensure adherence to DDS, funding agency, and state regulations.
• Assist with ISP/IEP goals and assessments; oversee assessments.
• Provide on-call responsibilities as required.
• Coordinate medical, psychiatric and socio-emotional needs of supported individuals.
• Manage staffing schedules and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
