Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Director of Program Evaluation to join our Research & Evaluation Department in New York. The role focuses on building and maintaining evaluation systems that support program information collection and data dissemination for internal teams and external funders.

You will work closely with senior staff to design evaluation plans, track KPIs, and deliver high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in program evaluation, research, or performance measurement.
• Leadership or project management experience.
• Experience designing and managing evaluation frameworks and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of program evaluation frameworks aligned with HCZ mission.
• Mentor and supervise associates and analysts.
• Oversee data collection, cleaning, and analysis for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership to design evaluation plans and identify KPIs.
• Develop dashboards and presentations translating data into insights.
