Job summary

Greene, Tweed seeks an Process Improvement and Automation Engineer to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety across manufacturing lines. You will lead automation projects, collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams, and apply data-driven decision making to deliver targeted improvements.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree and 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, with hands-on PLC/HMI and CAD experience. Travel up to 10% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with process optimization, automation, and data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with SPC, Lean, Six Sigma and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce cost, minimize waste, increase efficiency, and improve safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies, and equipment.
• Continuously monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and propose improvements.
• Lead process validation activities and develop CIP/QA documentation.
• Provide training to production teams on new processes and equipment.
