Job summary

Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a Fund Development and Grant Specialist to advance the organization's mission by identifying, developing, and securing funding for programs and initiatives. This role leads the full grants lifecycle—from prospect research and proposal writing to compliance reporting and donor relations—while partnering with leadership, program, finance, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 1 year of grant writing and fundraising experience.
• Experience with grant lifecycle, reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with priorities.
• Lead development, writing, and submission of proposals and reports.
• Manage end-to-end grants process and timelines.
• Collaborate with leadership, program, finance, and marketing to gather data.
• Support fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
• Cultivate relationships with donors, grantors, sponsors.
• Maintain donor and grant records in CRM and track funding pipelines.
• Analyze fundraising metrics and prepare actionable reports.
• Partner with Marketing and Events on donor communications.
• Contribute to fundraising strategy and donor engagement programs.
• Represent Valley professionally to community partners.
