Job summary

Lee County Government's Department of Human & Veterans Services is seeking a Continuum of Care (CoC) Coordinator to support communications, events, and daily operations of the CoC.

This grant-funded role requires strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a public-facing environment.

You will work with partners to keep the CoC informed, coordinate meetings, and help implement homelessness services initiatives for Lee County residents.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business administration, human services, social work, psychology, or a related field
• Two years of experience in social services, case management, care coordination, or a related field
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly CoC updates, newsletters, announcements, resources, meetings, and events.
• Support recruitment and engagement of new CoC members through outreach, communications, and onboarding.
• Maintain and update the Homeless Resource Guide in collaboration with community providers.
• Coordinate monthly general membership meetings, including scheduling, agendas, materials, minutes, attendance, and follow‑up.
• Provide administrative support to CoC committees, including agendas, minutes, communications, coordination, and tracking action items.
• Maintain organized CoC records, calendars, contact lists, and meeting documentation.
• Coordinate the annual Homelessness Proclamation at the Board of County Commissioners meeting.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for major CoC events: Point‑in‑Time Count, Stand Down, Homeless Memorial Day/Vigil.
• Assist with tasks and initiatives identified by CoC committees.
• Maintain and update the CoC website with agendas, minutes, calendars, announcements, and resources.
• Manage administrative files, correspondence, schedules, and CoC documentation.
• Assist with preparing and submitting the annual CoC Notice of Funding Availability.
• Serve as an administrative point of contact for CoC members, committees, partners, and stakeholders.
