Job summary

United Way of South Central Michigan (UWSCMI) seeks a Continuum of Care (CoC) Specialist to coordinate CoC activities, support HUD/MSHDA funding administration, and ensure compliant program operations across Calhoun County.

The role involves partnership with nonprofits, local government, and service providers in a hybrid work setting, with occasional travel to cover Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham, Jackson, and Kalamazoo.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office suite.
• Experience with HUD/MSHDA funding processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CoC meetings and communications with partners and stakeholders.
• Manage HUD/MSHDA grant processes across application, administration and reporting phases.
• Support data submission activities (e.g., PIT, HIC, LIS, PPM) and HMIS-related duties.
• Assist with Coordinated Entry oversight and committee meetings.
