Job summary

OIC of South Florida is seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer to lead organizational operations, strategy, and performance across Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. You will drive operational excellence, contract management, and scalable systems while ensuring compliance and financial sustainability.

Reporting to the President/CEO, the COO will partner with leadership to advance the mission, grow impact, and strengthen partnerships with funders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit or mission-driven settings.
• Proven ability to manage operations, governance, and contracts at scale.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of organizational operations across multiple locations.
• Lead strategic plan execution, governance, and performance measurement.
• Oversee HR, facilities, compliance, and contract management.
• Partner with CEO and Board to drive growth and financial sustainability.
• Spearhead cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
