Job summary

Family Resource Center seeks a Chief Operating Officer to guide strategic and operational direction across all programs. The role leads executive teams to ensure program quality, compliance, and measurable community impact, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, talent development, grant strategy, budget stewardship, and cross‑department collaboration to improve service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• 10 years of management experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management for Directors overseeing Subsidized Child Care, Child Care Food Program, Resource & Referral, Community Development, and other assigned program areas.
• Lead the integration of agency programs and services to ensure seamless service delivery, client-centered outcomes, and operational effectiveness across departments.
• Plan, implement, and oversee all programmatic activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and funding source requirements.
• Monitor organizational performance and evaluate program effectiveness using data, outcomes, quality indicators, and community impact measures.
• Develop and implement strategies to strengthen service delivery, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Analyze regulatory changes and lead organizational implementation strategies to ensure timely compliance and operational readiness.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field

Master’s degree preferred
