SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) seeks a Behavioral Health Case Manager to support adults, children, and families facing emotional, mental, and substance use disorders. You will manage an assigned caseload, assess needs, advocate, and coordinate community resources to promote stabilization, independence, and recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field preferred; equivalent combination allowed.
• Candidates pursuing a master’s degree in social work, mental health, substance use, clinical counseling, or similar field may be considered.
• CDC-I or BHA-II certification required within 3 years of initial provisional qualified addition.
• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor assigned client caseload to support independence, safety, and stability.
• Coordinate with health and social services to access medical, housing, employment, and other supports.
• Provide active listening to encourage self-directed change and recovery.
• Document services in line with standards; obtain authorizations for tests, services, or meds as needed.
• Respond promptly to urgent situations and coordinate referrals as directed.
