Job summary

SEARHC in Southeast Alaska is seeking a Behavioral Health Case Manager to support adults and families dealing with serious emotional, mental, and/or substance use disorders. The role manages an assigned caseload, links clients with health and social services, and advocates for recovery.

You will document services in the charting system, respond to urgent client needs, and work with care coordinators to arrange referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, education, mental health, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manages and monitors assigned client caseload to support independence, safety and stability.
• Links clients to health and social services (medical, housing, education, etc.).
• Documents services in the charting system and completes prior authorizations as needed.
• Provides outreach and advocacy to meet client needs.
