Job summary

Google.org’s Tech for Social Impact team seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to leadership, translating data into actionable insights and shaping philanthropy strategy across pillars.

You will conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, influence funding models and budgets, and collaborate with analysts and researchers to ensure rigor and implementability across Google.org initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in statistical problem solving and data analysis using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).
• 6 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner to Google.org pillar leadership, balancing intellectual theory with implementability to deliver "client-ready" recommendations.
• Analyze impact metrics and evaluation research across all Google.org’s reporting initiatives to strategically advise across all four Google.org philanthropic pillars.
• Synthesize cross-pillar research and evaluation results, metrics and analytics into executive narratives for use in portfolio allocation frameworks.
• Lead hypothesis-driven problem solving, impact measurability-gap assessments, and strategic prioritization for priority social impact initiatives.
