Job summary

Google.org seeks a data-driven strategist to partner with leadership and translate complex social challenges into actionable insights. You will blend analytics, research, and business judgment to shape philanthropic strategy and optimize resource allocation across global pillars.

You will collaborate with analysts and researchers to ensure findings are robust and implementable, driving data-informed decisions and evolving impact measurement frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Quantitative Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g., Python, R, Java, C++).
• 6 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic thought partner to Google.org pillar leadership, balancing intellectual theory with implementability to deliver client-ready recommendations.
• Analyze impact metrics and evaluation research across all Google.org reporting initiatives to advise across four philanthropic pillars.
• Synthesize cross-pillar research and evaluation results into executive narratives for portfolio allocation frameworks.
