Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Immunology or related field with 12+ years in academia or biotech/pharma.
• Experience leading discovery and translational immunology in autoimmunity/inflammation.
• Prior experience managing teams and CROs/vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead immunology strategy for target validation, MOA, and biomarker discovery.
• Design, develop, and oversee cell-based assays including primary human cells.
• Direct immunology support for early-phase antibody discovery and ENG/ potency assays.
• Drive IND-enabling studies with biomarker strategy and translational assays.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing immunology team; hiring and development.
• Manage CROs and external collaborators for immunology work and biomarkers.
• Collaborate across functions to align immunology with program milestones.
• Inform lead optimization and clinical candidate selection decisions.
• Present data and risk assessments to senior leadership; guide portfolio decisions.
• Track emerging immunology science and landscape in IBD/autoimmune disease.
