Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting a District Manager for Immunology Gastroenterology in New England, covering Central and Western Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. You will lead a district team, translate enterprise directions into local execution, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires at least eight years in sales or related roles, two years in direct sales management, a Bachelor's degree, and willingness

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in the United States.
• Eight+ years in sales or cross-functional commercial roles in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
• Two+ years of direct sales management experience with coaching focus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and relocate if needed.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise and regional direction into district strategy with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team through hiring, performance management, and development planning.
• Provide advanced coaching and mentoring to strengthen selling, clinical execution, and business acumen.
• Drive demand generation and care transitions across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Build relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners to improve experience and execution.
• Anticipate market dynamics using data to adjust strategy and remove barriers.
• Influence internal partners across Sales, Medical Affairs, and Marketing with field insights.
• Maintain a culture of accountability, inclusion, and team health.
• Adhere to Healthcare Compliance and responsibly use AI-enabled tools while protecting privacy.
