Job summary

City of Laredo is seeking a dynamic Immunizations Program Manager to oversee the Public Health Department's immunization services for TVFC, ASN, and private vaccine channels. You will ensure safe, high-volume vaccination delivery for residents of Laredo and Webb County, manage inventory, billing, and reporting, and drive data-driven improvements.

The role requires coordination with the Medical Director and leadership, plus ensuring compliance with City and DSHS rules.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
• At least four years of experience in health care, public health, prevention, or health education.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily immunization clinic operations and staff.
• Supervise nurses, assistants, and clerks; assess performance and conduct evaluations.
• Manage TVFC and ASN vaccine operations per DSHS guidelines; maintain stock separation.
• Oversee vaccine inventory, cold-chain, and billing coordination.
• Ensure accurate records, consent, and reporting in immunization registries.
• Develop monthly vaccination production plans and set staffing targets.
• Monitor outcomes like doses, access, and turnout; implement improvements.
• Lead school-entry and seasonal vaccination campaigns with partners.
