Job summary

The City of Amarillo Public Health Department is seeking a Public Health Technician (Immunizations) to support the Immunization Program under direct supervision. You will assist with administrative and clinical tasks in the Immunization Clinic and manage program files and databases to ensure accurate data entry and program compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Reception experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients at the front desk and determine needs.
• Provide excellent customer service in the clinic.
• Screen patients for program eligibility.
• Register patients into EMR and order labs/tests/vaccines as needed.
• Enter data into EMR accurately.
• Screen immunization records to determine vaccine needs.
• Provide administrative support for the program.
