Job summary

Maricopa County Public Health seeks a Medical Records Clerk to support the Immunization Outreach Team at community events and main clinics. You will greet clients, assist with check-in, and guide them through registration, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience.

Responsibilities include collecting demographic data, entering insurance information, and safeguarding patient privacy. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to meet outreach needs and immunization coverage.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare privacy policies is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel throughout Maricopa County for immunization events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with check-in and client registration at events and clinics.
• Enter demographic and insurance information accurately into computer systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of patient records.
• Support outreach event setup and break-down, including moving supplies.
