As the Medical Records Clerk, you will support our Immunization Outreach Team and serve as the welcoming presence clients meet at community outreach events and, at times, in our main immunization clinics. Your role helps ensure every person who comes for a vaccine feels supported, informed, and valued. This work includes outreach events on weekends and during evening hours.You’ll guide clients through check-in and registration, answer basic questions, and help create a smooth, positive experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll collect and enter demographic and insurance information accurately and with attention to detail, and ensure all required program forms are completed and properly acknowledged. In addition, you may participate in public health response efforts during disease outbreaks.Because you work with sensitive health information, you’ll also play a key role in protecting client privacy by following all confidentiality laws, regulations, and departmental policies.
