Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks an Immunization Specialist to drive healthcare provider engagement and vaccine uptake across adult customers. You will educate office staff on disease prevention and GSK vaccine portfolio, translating clinical data into actionable conversations.

The role is field-based with travel across Champaign, IL and surrounding areas; collaboration with Vaccine Account Managers to meet territory targets. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of vaccines or pharmaceutical sales are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally as required for customer engagement.
• Occasional overnights and weekend travel.

Responsibilities

• Engage HCPs to communicate the clinical value of vaccines.
• Build expertise in vaccine products and competitors.
• Support educational programs, conventions and speaker events.
• Drive product pull through with public and contracted accounts and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain accurate CRM documentation and activity records per compliance standards.
