Job summary

The Aspen Group, Inc. is seeking an Immigration Specialist to own the organization’s immigration programs and drive strategy in collaboration with legal, HR, and business stakeholders.

The role demands independent operation, discretion on sensitive matters, and delivering a thoughtful experience for employees navigating immigration processes across multiple brands, including WellNow Urgent Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business, law, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business immigration or HR with immigration exposure.
• Experience end-to-end with immigration petitions and drafting petitions as needed.
• Ability to work autonomously, handle confidential information, and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze documentation for eligibility and determine next steps for current and prospective employees.
• Monitor changes in work status and manage potential gaps.
• Develop immigration strategies and present practical solutions to stakeholders.
• Translate regulatory shifts into guidance for leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate employment-based immigration cases and engage outside counsel when needed.
• Own case status, deadlines, and documentation across immigration matters.
