Job summary

WHOOP is seeking an Immigration & Global Mobility Specialist to own and scale our immigration, global mobility, and contractor operations programs. You will guide employees and candidates through complex immigration and mobility processes, while ensuring compliant, scalable practices as we grow globally.

You will partner with Legal, Finance, and People teams, manage external counsel and vendors, and build processes that improve efficiency and candidate experience for a better overall onboarding

Qualifications

• 4+ years in People Ops, immigration, or global mobility.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration and work authorization.
• Experience supporting international hiring and cross-border employment.
• Experience managing external partners such as immigration counsel.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple time-sensitive cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations.
• Interest in AI tools to improve day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own U.S. immigration cases through full lifecycle.
• Serve as internal subject matter expert for immigration and global mobility.
• Advise recruiting teams on immigration considerations, visa eligibility, and sponsorship options.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, People, and external advisors to understand requirements.
• Own contractor operations across the employee lifecycle.
• Build scalable processes, documentation, systems, and reporting.
