Berry Appleman & Leiden seeks an Immigration Lead to coordinate daily operations across immigration programs and mentor a team of Immigration Consultants. You will drive workflow efficiency, support program visibility, and uphold delivery standards in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

The role emphasizes mentorship, problem-solving, and strong judgement across H-1B, TN, L-1, PERM, I-140, and AOS projects, with opportunities to shape SOPs and tooling within BAL."

Qualificações

• 7–9 years of business immigration experience; OR a combination of education and experience that demonstrates readiness for the role.
• A bachelor’s degree paired with substantial immigration practice experience may meet the requirements.
• Candidate can demonstrate mastery of required skills, responsibilities or product/practice areas.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor case queues and adjust task assignments to meet team timelines.
• Identify workflow slowdowns and recommend immediate adjustments to maintain service levels.
• Apply established workflows, templates and client procedures to ensure consistency.
• Provide feedback to the Manager on recurring issues, and updates to tools or instructions.
• Communicate with clients and HR partners about case status and required documents; escalate as needed.
• Prepare for client touchpoints by gathering updates and metrics for the Manager.
• Coach Immigration Consultants to reinforce standards and improve accuracy.
• Flag quality issues or training gaps to support team development.
• Identify problems early and escalate to attorneys or leadership for resolution.
• Decide which issues can be solved at the team level and when escalation is needed.
• Leverage knowledge of H-1B, TN, L-1, PERM, I-140, AOS, RFEs to guide work quality.
• Engage attorneys for involvement in more complex cases as needed.
• Contribute to refining workflows, SOPs, or tools.
• Pilot new processes or tools before full rollout.
