Job summary

Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Associate in Irvine to join a smart, motivated, diverse team dedicated to immigration law. You will develop case strategies, counsel clients, and supervise junior associates while maintaining high standards of client service. A U.S.

JD or LLM and bar admission are required, with 2–3 years of experience. The role offers a hybrid work schedule with a compensation range of $144,000 to $180,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to draft and proofread complex immigration documents clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, and counseling clients.
• Identify and resolve escalations and areas of underperformance.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals on processing issues and strategy.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for visa status.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents based on precedents.
• Supervise junior Associates and staff, providing mentoring and immigration knowledge.
• Contribute to quality, efficiency, and standardization improvements.
• Use firm technology accurately and maintain complete data.
• Participate in team meetings and firmwide activities.
