Job summary

Summer Discovery in New York (Midtown Office) is seeking a recruiter to own full-cycle recruitment for seasonal residential and academic roles. You will partner with hiring managers to define requirements, manage pipelines, and coordinate interviews and offers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system and HRIS.
• Delivers a strong candidate experience with good judgment.
• Solid knowledge of recruiting fundamentals: sourcing, screening, offers.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Represents Summer Discovery at career fairs and builds pipeline depth.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for seasonal residential and academic roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and plan interviews.
• Manage the candidate pipeline in the ATS and keep requisitions current.
• Conduct initial candidate screens and coordinate next-round interviews and timelines.
• Coordinate reference and background checks.
• Extend and negotiate offers within delegated authority; involve manager for exceptions.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data for reporting.
• Input on sourcing strategy and channel performance.
