Job summary

Meow Wolf in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Exhibition Art and Scenic Associate for a variable, part-time role on-site. You will maintain and redesign the artistic elements, work with art and mechanical components, and fabricate new exhibit parts to enhance guest experience.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and safe operation of tools in a creative, collaborative environment. A background in scenic arts and fabrication is expected; flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in museum, public installations, immersive arts, or scenic production.
• Proficiency with design and fabrication tools related to art installations.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials and follow SDS standards.
• Experience with power tools and heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain artworks across the exhibition, including graphics, murals, sculptures, and mechanical elements.
• Design, fabricate, theme, and install new or reworked exhibition elements.
• Document repairs and upgrades with detailed records.
• Ensure safety protocols and PPE usage according to safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Exhibitions team and leadership to implement improvements.
