Job summary

Meow Wolf in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Exhibition Art and Scenic Associate to maintain, preserve, and redesign artistic space in line with exhibition designs. You will work with art and mechanical elements, carpentry tools, and rigging to ensure guest experience is of the highest quality.

The role involves installation of new exhibit elements, routine inspections, and collaboration with the exhibitions team. Flexible, part-time shifts and on-site work are required, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience in museum, immersive arts, scenic design production, or related fields.
• Experience with art preservation, maintenance of exhibition elements, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino, Fusion 360, Blender.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and routine maintenance of artworks and installations.
• Track repairs and safety issues, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Design, fabricate, theme, and install exhibition elements per direction.
• Document repairs and updates with detailed records.
• Work with chemicals and tools following SDS standards and safety practices.
