Job summary

Meow Wolf in Las Vegas is seeking an Exhibition Art and Scenic Associate to join the team. You will maintain and preserve artworks, assist in the design and fabrication of new exhibit elements, and ensure installations meet the highest guest experience standards.

You will work with carpentry tools, metals, paints, and rigging, following safety protocols and SDS standards. A balance of creativity, technical skill, and meticulous record-keeping is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience in museum, public installations, immersive arts, scenic design production, or theme parks.
• Experience with art restoration/preservation and 3D fabrication methods such as 3D printing, CNC milling, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and vacuum forming.
• Proficiency in CAD/design software and ability to interpret design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform routine maintenance of art throughout the exhibition.
• Collaborate with the Exhibitions team to implement repairs and upgrades.
• Design, fabricate, theme and install new or reworked exhibition elements.
• Document repairs and maintenance and keep records up to date.
