Job summary
Meow Wolf Dallas, LLC seeks a Lead Exhibition Technical Engineer to maintain and enhance immersive exhibit technology across lighting, sound, video, projections, networking, and show control systems. You will repair, upgrade, and design improvements for daily operations and special events in a dynamic, interactive environment.
The role requires 3–5+ years in media tech or related fields, with strong skills in DMX/ETC lighting, Q-SYS/Dante audio, and hands-on fabrication.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years in emerging media tech, creative tech installations, software development, or professional AV systems integration.
- Associate degree or technical institute certification, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of lighting, audio, video and show control systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Operations: daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and issue resolution with CMMS logging.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership: collaborate with staff and cross-site teams; author SOPs and train staff.
- Technical Support & Integration: high system availability; wiring, configuration, and updates across show control networks and AV.
- Project Development & Enhancements: observe visitor interactions and design technical enhancements; document as-built schematics.
