Job summary

Pali Mountain is seeking an Environmental Graphic Designer to create visual systems, signage, and branded environments for our campuses in Running Springs, CA. This role blends studio design with on-site site walks and production coordination.

You will work with a Creative Director and production teams to turn concepts into production-ready graphics for wayfinding, murals, and themed environments across multiple brands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in graphic design, environmental/signage design, or brand production.
• Strong portfolio showing environmental and large-format work.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience with SketchUp or similar software for spatial and install planning.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and large-format design, including scale, spatial context, production requirements, and installation considerations.
• Hands-on experience with large-format printing processes: file prep, vendor coordination, production, and output.

Responsibilities

• Design signage, wayfinding, murals, event graphics, and other environmental brand assets from concept to production-ready files.
• Design with the physical space in mind: scale, sightlines, materials, and how it will be built and installed.
• Manage the large-format printing process end-to-end: file prep, vendor coordination, proofing, and production.
• Use SketchUp or similar software to map out and plan large installs before they go into production.
• Conduct on-site walkthroughs to take measurements and assess spaces before designing.
• Maintain brand consistency across signage, environmental graphics, and activation materials across all five Pali brands.
